Welcome to Pync! Please read these terms carefully before using the app.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Pync mobile application (the "App") by users. By using the App, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description
- The App allows you to synchronize and transfer your files to a cloud storage provider of your choice.
- Pync does not store your files on its own servers, unless explicitly stated.
- The App is a technical tool only. Pync does not guarantee successful, complete, or error-free transfers.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your third-party access credentials secure
- Backing up your own data
- Choosing and configuring your cloud storage
- Checking that backups are successful
You remain responsible for any additional data backups.
4. Availability
- We strive to keep the App available at all times, but cannot guarantee continuous access.
- Maintenance, technical issues, or third-party problems may temporarily affect availability.
5. Liability
- Pync is fully liable for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health.
- For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential obligations and only to foreseeable damages.
- We are not liable for data loss if you fail to perform regular backups.
- Pync is not responsible for: third-party outages or malfunctions, misconfiguration of your cloud storage, security issues of external cloud providers, or improper use of the App.
All other liability is excluded.
6. Subscriptions and Termination
- Paid subscriptions follow the terms of the App Store.
- Terminations are handled through the App Store platform.
7. Changes to the App
We may modify, adapt, or discontinue features of the App as needed, provided essential obligations are maintained.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
If any provision is invalid, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
